A coccobacillus (plural coccobacilli) is a type of bacterium with a shape intermediate between cocci (spherical bacteria) and bacilli (rod-shaped bacteria).
They remind me of chocolate (So tasty!)
It's also why chocolate agar is my favorite agar xD
Coccobacilli examples:
Chlamydia trachomatis
Coxiella burnetti
Brucella genus
Bordetella pertussis
Haemophilus ducreyi
Haemophilus influenzae
Gardnerella vaginalis
PS: Coccobacilli are not edible. Do not eat them.
